We are proud to announce that we have added three new members to our chapter! We affiliated Celia Smith, Gwytha Telotta, and Caryl Barnes as Patronesses-with-Training. Congratulations, ladies! We're happy to have you with us.
Feb. 27, 2005
With the help of Theta Theta Chapter (Nichols State), we put on a fundraising concert, "Build the Band." Through our efforts, we raised over $500 to benefit the Central Catholic High School band, where member Marcie Hunter teaches. The concert featured New Orleans Alumnae, members of Theta Theta, and students at Central Catholic as well as their full band. The students and their parents were enthusiastic and grateful! We feel proud that we were able to help further the development of music in America by providing support for this growing music program. Keep up the good work Marcie!

Our holiday meeting and potluck was a success, with wonderful food and a musicale provided by Kristy Rose! Thanks, Courtney Sloan, for hosting it!

We had the Omega C province day at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, hosted by Theta Theta chapter. It was a fun day for all of us, with workshops, musicale, and an excellent lunch! Thanks, Theta Theta ladies for planning a wonderful day.

Thanks to everyone who helped out at our garage sale! We raised money to help build the music library for Central Catholic High School in Morgan City where member Marcie Hunter teaches.

Congratulations to our newest affiliate, Khara Molsbee! This was a busy weekend for us, with affiliation and our official visit from our province officer, Marcie Richardson. To top it all off, we had a tea to introduce our chapter to prospective patronesses with a musicale featuring members Khara Molsbee, Meredith Lee, Ellen Brda and Angela Johnson.

During the WWNO membership drive, a number of SAINO members volunteered to answer phones and take pledges. We helped the station meet its financial goals and had a great time helping out our favorite classical music station!

Our membership is growing! We affiliated five new members to the SAINO chapter: Jean Hare, Marcie Hunter, Erin Lavin, Cristina Mendoza, and Rebekah Rihner. Congratulations, ladies!
